Writer's Block? These Two Websites will Help You Think of Your Next Blog Post.

Updated: Jun 11, 2019

Are you stuck trying to figure out what in the heck to blog about? We’ve all been there.

Maybe you’re really passionate about something but you’re not sure how to break it all down and actually do the writing thing. Maybe you're interested in blogging but aren't sure what you could write about. Or maybe you’re like me and have 101 ideas of what you could write about and just need some direction to point you where to go.

Whatever it is holding you up, I wanted to share two FREE websites I occasionally use to get me out of the mud…..you know because I’m stuck…in the mud. Ok, moving on.

Title Generator: Tweak Your Biz Title Generator

Blog Idea Generator: Hubspot Blog Ideas Generator

These two websites are fantastic. Why? Well besides being free, they’re so simple to use and ALWAYS seem to spark a giant brainstorming session after I use them.

They're both similar, one is just a title generator and the other a blog idea generator. Both will help you come up with titles and/or ideas for your next blog. All you do is type 1-5 keywords into the search bar and voilà, the websites automatically come up with a list of different blog titles and ideas you can use to write your next post.

The generators help you see new possibilities of the different topics, options, and ways you can write your posts.

When I finally committed to starting my blog I was excited, ambitious, and couldn’t wait to start writing about all of the things I loved. Yet somehow I couldn’t wrap my mind around that first post. I had a million and one ideas and NO idea where to begin. I came across these title and idea generators and you better believe I typed in 5 keywords. That day I wrote and published my first blog post and wrote down 5 other post ideas I was excited about.

If you’re just getting started with blogging, stuck, or looking for some new ideas and topics you can write about, I highly recommend taking a look at these two websites. They’ve helped me and I’m confident they can help you too.

Also, If you’re not into blogging (yet) I want you to know this can be for you too. Maybe you’ve enjoyed blogs from afar, have considered dabbling in it, or think I’d like to do that but can’t, let me just tell you that you can. The great thing about blogging is that anyone can do it. You can take it seriously or have it as an outlet for fun. You can make money or write like a journal. You can share as much or as little as you want. One of the things I’ve discovered through blogging is you never know who needs to hear what, or when they need to hear it. You’re writing and sharing could help someone, inspire someone, or teach someone something and I think that’s a very special gift. Wherever you are in your own blogging journey, you are already qualified to share it with others.

So even if you’re like “Nah, blogging isn’t really for me” I challenge you to visit these websites and type in some keywords and see if they spur any ideas that might change your mind. What keywords should you type in? Well, what do people ask you about constantly? What do you find yourself talking about most? What do you know a whole lot about? What do you enjoy? Do you have any hobbies or talents? Type in these as your keywords and see what happens.

I hope these two websites help you in your writing, brainstorming, and blogging and that you’re inspired and have a new sense of direction for your future posts.

Happy writing,

Steph
